The Unbound Paladins

An unbound paladin can be godless if they have not decided what god to serve, and paladins who have sworn to fight for something, but doesn’t know just what that something is yet, achieve general divine magic to an extent. Once they’ve hit that limit, beyond rare exceptions, they must make a choice of what god to serve or they will never advance.
