The Ritual of A New Body

The Sunlight Medicine Group actively collects severed body parts from unconscious newborns, with replacements being regenerated on the spot. This serves to keep physical samples of the population for the possibility of resurrection upon the owner’s death and/or the permanent inaccessibility of the corpse. Due to the nature of the Ritual, the severed parts grow in age alongside the owner's body.
While resurrection is never guaranteed, it brings comfort to the minds of imperial citizens that should they go missing or die, the absence of their bodies won’t hinder a possible resurrection.
