The Battle of the Field of Fallen Truth

The final, cumulative battle in the Second Truespoken-Defiance War, one of the largest and most destructive battles in the history of Sor Rusk. While it is largely seen as the end of the war, it technically ended with the death of Howaardt Truthlight at the Siege of Basil Keep.   What started out as a routine ambush by Defiance forces on a Truespoken convoy of magical weapons escalated through continuous reinforcements into the final battle of the Second Truespoken-Defiance War and the largest and most chaotic battle in recorded history.   Easily surpassing the previous battle to be considered the largest, it utilized the Truespoken’s divine and the Defiance’s arcane army teleportation to bring in new reinforcements until it snowballed. With the exertion of the teleportation taking it’s toll on the casters of both sides and emptying their reserves of power, it was effectively a suicide run for whoever lost, as all options for instantaneous long-range escape routes were already exhausted.

Vengeance Scarred The Alsmage

During the climactic battle between the Alsmage and the God of Vengeance, the divine had been empowered by stolen power from the Mortalborn God by the Truthlight Brothers, the weapon of Vengeance was blown away and the Alsmage, limited by his own opposing power and the conflict, had to direct its trajectory to scar the land in such a way as to avoid unnecessary death. He succeeded at a cost, the price he paid being suffered by the piercing finger of Vengeance into his almighty chest.   To this day, that scar remains present on his body, regardless of his form at any one time.
