Shifters

One of the species of Taeingarnor. Their original word in Old Human is "Tiraserai" which means “The Changers.”
Shifters is the word used for the species of people who have innate animal features from birth who can shift between a mostly human form to a much more animalistic humanoid form.
Shifters have a spiritual history rather than a biological one, as a random spirit from the Fold joins the soul of a shifter child upon conception.
