Hammer of Dawn

The Divine Champion known as the Hammer of Dawn, a Vanclad Half-Orc chosen by the Pike, was the greatest of his peers and is renowned as one of the greatest heroes to have ever lived.
Many attributed the growth of the power and following of the Pike in large parts due to the efforts of her most beloved champion. The power she had granted grew within him to astounding levels and his weapon ascended into an artifact through his efforts alone.
He was known as being as great as he was for a number of reasons; he used the power bestowed upon him in the most efficient and successful way than any before him, he accomplished more tasks and completed more divine trials than any other champion, he was an incredibly kind, charismatic and resourceful man, and so on.
He carried with him the source of his moniker; the Maul of Mercy, a gift from the Pike upon his acceptance as one of her champion.
