Gronstadt's North and South Slaughter War

It was in these years that Gronstadt invaded its northern neighbour, while its own southern neighbour took the chance to invade them. The Gronstadt king shifted his tactics and commanded the slaughter of not only the soldiers of the cities in their north that they took hostage, but also the civilians and rendered their southern fortifications, castles, towns and cities completely ruined and useless.   Afterwards, Gronstadt’s armies went back down and fought to a standstill with the southern armies, weakened by their northern campaign. A truce was signed shortly after.   _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________   [Timeline]   [Time Period Summary]
