Ascended Mortals
There are times when an idea or a concept requires a voice. When a thought that is consistent throughout mortals minds demand representation. It is at these times when a mortal who embodies one or more of these ideas, concepts and thoughts ascends into godhood.
Then there are times when a mortal amasses an amount of divine power to the point that their mortals shells can not contain it. When a mortal achieves feats of incredible magnitude repeatedly. At these times as well, the mortal ascends.
Then there are those rare times when a divine, or more rarely a group of divines, decide that a particular mortal is so devoted to a philosophy that it would be a shame to let them be forgotten in the annals of history. At these times as well, the mortal ascends.
Every mortal has the potential for divine ascension. But so very few manage such a feat.
These former mortals have achieved what so few have.
