The Liberators
The Liberators are a bunch of people who realized they are just game pieces on the canvas called Tacillia. Some recognized the truth by themselves, while others were led on the path of enlightenment. Nobody knows who the others are. Neither where they live nor what their names are. They all know each other via nicknames. Their primary task is to guide others into their fold and protect the rest of the inhabitants of Tacillia from the lie. They are not ready for the truth.
The whole organization started with one person. Like the rest of them, nobody who that person is. Everybody knows only by their nickname, Truth. He was the first to see through the lie and recruited others for the cause. For some reason, the Truth is not communicating with anybody nowadays. The Liberators fear that the Truth received a "backstory" from the Owner and now lives the lie.
The Owner is the enemy. His decisions are final, and everybody lives based on his whims. However, he is not perfect, and sometimes he creates inconsistencies. Inconsistencies, like a bush being green from one angle but yellow from another, when the front of a house looks different than the back, or Tacillia having holes in it. These inconsistencies are the weapons of the Liberators. They can use it to spy on the Owner and to communicate with each other.
Similarly, like nobody knows the others, nobody knows the number of the Liberators. They all agree that they are few, but almost day by day, a new member pops up. Unfortunately, their greatest enemy, the Owner, is not idle either, and when he gives a backstory to one of their members, that member is lost to the cause. As far as they know, the Owner is not aware of their presence yet. Currently, they are biding their time to recruit as many members as they can and to finally liberate Tacillia so that the inhabitants would decide their destiny and not someone who thinks he knows what would be the best for them.
