Skat'ra heavy

Creation process

The base of a skat'ra heavy creation process is similar to any other skat'ra. They are born from eggs. However, the details are more of a recipe than anything else. Every skat'ra queen knows this recipe. It is carved into their minds during their princess phase. This recipe is continuously fine-tuned based on new information when the heavies battle the tobzoshkuh horde. When a skat'ra heavy is created, the queen must be prudent when it is made. That's because they start decomposing the second they are born, and they must be alive when the tobzoshkuh horde reaches the hill. Being a short-lived individual is their drawback of being a potent enemy of the tobzoshkuh titans. Their average lifespan is roughly three months. At least among those who survive the attack of a tobzoshkuh horde, and there aren't many of them.

Existence

Although every other skat'ra is more or less a tool of the queens, they still have varying levels of intelligence. The heavies are living, biological weapons with only one goal: killing the tobzoshkuh titans. In theory, the skat'ra queens could use them against other targets, but their current recipe is so focused on the tobzoshkuh titans that it will take a lot of time for a handful of queens to modify the recipe.

Combat skills and properties

In contrast with the skat'ra warriors and sentinels, the queens control the heavies entirely. The queens have only two commands. Still, when the tobzoshkuh horde is far and kill, when the horde is close. The heavies, on average, are 50% taller than the warriors and have multiple layers of chitin armor. The added protection of heavier armor makes them less mobile and agile, but mobility is not needed when the goal is to face the tobzoshkuh titans face-to-face. This strange tactic is the cornerstone of their fighting style. Their whole body is rotting continually. They can fight with their long claws and inject this rot into the body of the tobzoshkuh titans, but it is much more if a heavy is eaten by a titan that spreads the rot everywhere. It is not uncommon to see a heavy climbing into the mouth of a titan to kill it with its body as quickly as possible.

Additional Information

Uses, Products & Exploitation

Nothing useful. The body of a skat'ra heavy rots quickly.
I don't recommend attacking any of the heavies. If you attack one of them, you attack all of them. And you attack all the other skat'ra. Which, depending on their numbers, can be called a suicide. But I'd do it from a distance if you still want to attack them. You don't want their rot to enter your body through their claws or touching them.
