a troublesome teacher of the academy of Ipsola. She longs to rid the academy of corruption, but she may not be entirely pure herself.

General Physical Condition
Siobhan shows how Elves even age gracefully and beautifully. In the middle ages of her life, Siobhan still seems radiant, though seems to carry the haughty arrogance that elves of such beauty that stereotypes of elves suggest.
Body Features
She is an average height as far as elvish women are concerned. Her proporptions are more round and humanlike, rather than the more petite and scrawny form Elves are more commonly seen in.
Facial Features
Siobhan's silvery hair and stark, light blue eyes emphasizes the cold, distant presence she has. Despite the Ipsola academy present in the heat of the Traxian League, she is often ironically called an "ice queen". Her face and upper body has also acquired a strong tan from the desert sun, making her hair all the more striking.
Of note, her silvery hair is not of her age. From what anyone has been able to figure out, it has always been of this color.

Siobhan's history is hard to make out. Her cold distance has made it hard for anyone to get a read on her and her past before the Academy.
she was an adventuring wizard of some success, based on the clutter of memorabilia she has in her office. She shares few stories and none of the other former adventurers are aware of a wizard by her name. Even how she became accepted into the Academy as a professor is uncertain: the faculty who approved her has long since departed.
What is known is that she has taught here for over 20 years, and been a nuisance to her fellow faculty for almost all of them. She's challenged the authority and the quality of students from the beginning.

Siobhan appears well versed in magic, befitting her title as professor. Her skill is all the more impressive, given that she has no formal schooling in it. According to the few stories she has shared, Siobhan's learning has been all through practical experience, on the job.
Employment
In her working at the academy of Ipsola, Siobhan has been teaching the same course on Arcane Theory; an introductory course. Whether Siobhan is taking the low hanging fruit and enjoying early retirement, or whether her troublesome behavior has lead to this lowly position as a reprisal is a contested issue.
With students who are promising, and who have the appropriate coin, Siobhan will provide private tutoring and instruction to students. To her credit, those who receive the training tend to perform at a superior level. Her selective nature, like other things, has multiple interpretations; including the notion that she may only be interested in assisting those who are already displaying strong capabilities.

Siobhan has been frustrated with the structure and membership of the academies faculty seen she's been accepted among them. She has tried to solve the problem, but fighting single handedly, has been a losing battle.

Motivation
Siobhan wants more than anything to see the Ipsola academy rejuvenated and be as great as it possibly can be; a school to rival it's origins as well as the D'arcan Academy to the east. She is borderline obsessed with it; which is largely why she is so grating against the other professors that she believes to be incompetent, corrupt, or even both.
Why she is so committed, many have asked, and none have obtained clear and concise answers. She could be a court wizard in almost any kingdom, and with some strong negotiation, could even teach in D'arcan. That she is not burdened to stay in Ipsola makes her utter refusal to go be anywhere other than the most miserable place for her confounds all those around her.

Her haughty behavior and cold distance masks a wider skill and awareness of social interactions. The elf knows how to be an effective communicator and how to form good relationships. Something either happened in her past, or something is going on in her present situation, that is making her deliberately sabotage whatever ties she might form with the contemporaries she might otherwise call friends in the Academy.
Hobbies & Pets
Siobhan has a white dragonling that she keeps as a pet, confining her "baby" to her office to keep it safe from the environment, and possibly, from the more vindictive members of the staff. How and where she got it, noone can say for sure. In the rare cases where she has talked about it, the answer has always changed.
