Angel's Down

Coyly named, the natural phenomenon of Angel's Down coincides with angelic beings entering the world of T'sara. It is associated with large feathers like those from angel's wings falling from the sky like rain. Gathering one of these feathers is commonly associated with good fortune and blessings for the future.

Manifestation

The phenomenon known as Angel's Down does not have manifestations that can make it a predictable occurrance, although there are a few general trends. Angel's Down has always occurred during the day, and on clear, sunny days. The first eminent sign of Downing is the sun brightening dramatically, followed by a warming of the temperature. From here, there are usually a few minutes before the feathers begin to fall from a coudless sky. This area has been known to stretch for multiple miles, so while most of the rare observers hope to witness the angel firsthand, doing so is a rarity upon rarity.

Localization

Areas commonly associated with moral goodness and the religious devout are where Angel Downs occur most often, though rare exceptions occur. Nations like Vahn, the Sehk Theocracy, and Holy State of Shiar have seen them more commonly than others. Camps of the Watch of the Eternal Flame have witnessed Angel Downs on rare occassion as well, as the newly emergent angels arrive to help the zealous crusaders in their fight against evil.

Type

Metaphysical, Divine

Although there are different types of Angels, all with their own characteristics, moods and rarities, all are preceded by an Angel Down when first entering T'sara from the Heavans. It is argued by some that there are slight changes in the Angel Down depending on the type of angel, but the events are too rare and spread out to be verified for certain. A popular unverified theory is the size of the Down Feathers are indicative of the Angel that arrives, but as before, most Downs occur without any witnessess observing the Angel's arrival, making it a controversial claim.
