Lightspear Program

An elite multilateral task force of Empowered created by Operation Moonglow to fight the supernatural and criminals who use the supernatural.

Structure

The program has 350 members. The program chief is commander Ikuyo Fukuda. The about 135 personnel in Alpha Company and 133 in Bravo Company, the remaining being support staff and researchers. Each company is commanded by a captain who has staff of officers and support staff. Each company has five squads of ten Empowered with a non-Empowered lieutenant and warrant officer who themselves are highly distinguished helping command the squad. Each squad has two fire teams of four, whose powers have been carefully chosen to complement each other. The last two Empowered are considered support, due to their particular powers and form a fire team with the lieutenant and the warrant. There are also three squads of non-Empowered specialty support. Considered some of the best and most versatile soldiers in the world they provide on the battle field whatever the Empowered squads lack. While a situation develops, it is assigned to a company. The company commanding officer then decides which squads will be deployed. Relevant staff officers then plan strategy and brief the deploying squads. The squads are than deployed via helicopter or plane, being air dropped if needed to.
