Operation Moonglow
An international organization whose task is to seek to understand the supernatural and fight any threats to humanity it may pose.
Structure
The Committee of International Supernatural Affairs elect the director of operation Moonglow. The director is in turn in charge of the entire organization. The executive officer for the operation is known as the assistant director. Moonglow is then split into departments each with a department head. The departments include public relations, operations support, research and development, international law, and supernatural defence. Public relations' job is to build rapport with countries and general populace, show how important the organization is. Operations support deals the logistics, finance and IT, along with odd jobs. Research and Development is in charge of learning about and exploiting the supernatural. International law works with governments to create effective laws for dealing with supernatural as well as seek to understand how governments are dealing with the supernatural. Supernatural defence are those whose job is to deal with dangerous supernatural events and seek to prevent them from occurring. The famous Lightspear Program is within the supernatural defence department.
Public Agenda
Operation Moonglow's directive is to learn as much as possible about the supernatural, use it for the benefit of humanity, and prevent it from being harmful.
Assets
Moonglow has a annual budget of 67 billion dollars. It consists of almost 100 thousand personnel with about 40 major bases, labs, and offices around the globe. It has the authority to take on, deal with, and research supernatural cases in almost every country.
History
Moonglow was created on September 6th 2019 by Alexandra Tower, soon after the Committee of International Supernatural Affairs was formed. Moonglow's initial case was Xod, who was causing havoc raining projectiles all over the globe. Moonglow did not have much success getting rid of Xod and would remain a thorn in Tower's side for her entire career as director. Despite Xod, Alexandra Tower built the organization and made Moonglow a leader in supernatural research, helped by her negotiating skills in getting a significant budget. Tower stepped down as director in 2022, to become the department head of operation support. Benci Juhasz, a highly successful commander in the supernatural defence department was made director. Juhasz quickly distinguished himself, finally taking out Xod and creating the Lightspear Program.
