Liliam
Liliam is by far the most conventional and "familiar" of all the countries on Syrioc. It is isolated by the Brunmil mountain range which keeps trade and interaction with other countries to a minimum. It is a mostly racially segregated country, with five main kingdoms.
The Dwarven kingdom is by far the oldest, and their main city rests upon a mountain þollrby. Dwarven culture is clan based, and many reside in small mining communities spread throughout the Brunmil mountains.
The Elven kingdom is located on the northern part of the landmass, sharing it with the Human kingdom. The dense forests are partially fey, and many bands of feral wood elves make it their home by foraging. The most, if not all the High Elves occupy the central city of Whitlam.
The Human kingdom is the most recent, which explains the harsh conditions many of them are made to live in. Their city, Redwald, is the center for greed and criminal activity in Liliam. Most humans living there are extremely poor, or extremely rich from shady business. The middle class struggle to survive, and most eventually leave for better conditions.
The Halfling kingdom consists of many small farming towns spread out along the coast. Most of the country's food originates from here and the economy flourishes from trade and plentiful resources.
The last is Faeria, this kingdom is not separated by race, and serves as a neutral zone in times of conflict. Faeria also houses the country's royal palace, and is considered the capital city of Liliam.
Geography
Many forests cover Liliam, the most wild and dangerous being Fledlea Forest in the elven kingdom. There are two prominent mountain ranges: the Brunmil range is located on the country's western border, and a small unnamed range separates the elven and human kingdoms. There are also numerous lakes and gulfs present and a small archipelago makes up most of the Halfling kingdom of Vivil.
