Whip of Spiders

Effect

You summon into your hands hundreds of spiders, which cling together forming a whip made for a creature of your size. Attacks made with this whip are melee spell attacks, but otherwise function like a normal whip. Any creature you strike with the whip takes 2d6 points of poison damage in addition to the normal damage of a whip.   As an action, you can transform the whip into a swarm of spiders, that is formed within 15 feet of you, and are under your control for the remaining duration of this spell.   At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher and again at 6th level or higher, you deal an additional 1d6 points of poison damage per strike, and create two additional spider swarms.
