Tomekeeper

You have specialized how to flex your magical knowledge through the written form, and are particularly adept at translating spells and concoctions into and through your spellbook.

Prerequisite(s)

  • Must possess the Spellbook or Formula Book class feature.

Special(s)

  • Any aspect of this feat that applies to Spellbooks, also applies to Formula Books.

Benefit

  • Any spell you scribe in your spellbook requires only half the normal amount of time to inscribe the spell, and requires only half a page per spell-level instead of a full-page per spell level (rounding up).
  • Whenever you would cast a normal spell with the ritual tag using spell slots, you double the duration of that spell, if any, and you may select one additional target for the spell, if any. If the spell targets only self, you may target one creature of your choice within 10 feet of you at time of casting.
  • You can ritually cast any normal ritual spell that you can normally ritually cast at half the normal time.
  • Whenever you would gain new spells from leveling up, you gain an additional number of spell points equal to your Proficiency bonus at the time of level up. These points are still limited by the highest level of spell that you could normally apply to your spell book. These spell points can be used to gain a new spell or spells of a level equal to the amount of spell points dedicated to the given spell, they can also be used to enhance a spell that would normally be gained from the spellbook feature. For example, at 7th level, you would gain 3 spell points which could be applied to gain a single 3rd level or 1 2nd level and 1 1st level, alternatively it could be applied to enhance any spell you would normally gain from the spellbook feature upon level up. This benefit is retroactive.
  • You can prepare an additional number of spells whenever you would prepare spells equal to double your Proficiency bonus.
