Elderia
- Treasonous/Seditious Materials - Anything that seeks to destabilize or damage the empire, in a political or social sense. This can be judged and tried by each of the three branches of government.
- In the main government, the Throne/Kapral may directly consider things treason against the nation, and the other government officials go through more standard governance and set laws and precedents through the legal system.
- The Church focuses on hostile religions and cults, with the Inquisition and other affiliated organizations like the Templar Eldyria investigating and handling such things. Some may end up going through the legal system, but others may be summarily judged if of sufficient danger.
- The Mages' Guild focuses on dangerous knowledge, whether functional or misinformation about magic, as well as reagents, magical items, and so on. They can judge such things alone, and have the authority to seize 'magical' threats at will. This can later be contested in the legal system, which allows the other branches to chime in if they have interest, or for the Mages' Guild to explain their justification or otherwise what they are doing to investigate the item.
- The Inquisition, while nominally tied to the Church, is at this point in Elderian history essentially the federal agency that maintains stability, as well as investigators and internal affairs. They technically answer to the Church and Throne together, but effectively operate on their own, instead coordinating with the three branches to determine what Elderian stability is and the desired state, as well as the legal system. They may also operate outside of the standard legal system though, much like the Mages' Guild can do on its own, except pertaining more to social, government, or religious matters.
- Non-medicinal Poisons - Processed poisons and toxic herbs or plants that could be used for murder or assassination.
- Additional Notes: Some licensed individuals may be able to have them if there are any potential uses.
- Dragon Materials - Dragon parts such as Bone and Scales.
- Drugs and Intoxicants - Elderia does not directly have strong restrictions against possession. Usage of those considered societally dangerous is illegal, both outright and because of public conduct laws, sort of like laws that don't allow drinking on the streets.
- Alcohol is mostly permitted, but also is restricted by public conduct laws. Personal possession and consumption on own property is fine, selling it needs licensing or otherwise registration, whether you're a supplier or a bar, in case of poor quality or other taint.
