Effect

Upon hearing lore, you can call upon your patron as a reaction to grasp deep into their unique insight. With sudden realization you become aware of perhaps some insight lost.
Whenever you are required to make an Arcana, History, Martial, Nature, or Religion check, you can as a reaction cast this spell. If you do so, you gain a +5 bonus on this check; however, if you do so, you must make a DC 10 Wisdom check, or suffer from a short-term madness as the forbidden knowledge wracks your mind.

Side/Secondary Effects

Whenever you would cast a corruption spell, you must make a Charisma saving throw DC equal to 10 + double the spells level, failure results in you gaining a number of corruption points equal to the spells level.
