Khy'rac

Fire, Life, War - Any - Amphibious

From across the sands of the Golden matches to the humid quagmires eastwards, many indigenous tribes can recant their oral history depicting the tale of primordial re-creation. Almost as if the skies were at war, as a great upheaval can be felt and heard throughout the heavens. And as the people looked up, they could do nothing but look in shock and awe as the ground cracked and the sky rained with fire.   In response to this, the land itself would respond, the molten hand of the spirits would coalesce together to form a singular creature intertwining both the fury of schism and the beauty of rebirth. And as this creature slowly came to be, it took its one of many first breaths, sparking the air aflame, and thus Khy’rac, the Ember Salamander was born.   The Ember Crawler would roam the land, at first, aimlessly and without care or sentient thought but as blessed was its creation, so was it blessed with wisdom unparalleled. Slowly the Crawler began to think, ponder, question and develop a keen insight that exceeded its titanic size. But the burden of wisdom weighed heavy on the creature.   The contemplation of solitude.   After many journeys, Khy’rac would stumble onto a volcanic spring of which, a compulsion flowed unto him. Either by a subconscious whim or by a design beyond itself, he touched the spring with its molten paw infusing the volcanic layer of soot and flow with the same primordial essence of which he himself was created from and from this molten humid spring did the first of many Rodela were born, molded in image to that of their titanic progenitor.   Khy’rac would spend centuries amongst its creations, admiring their work and growth throughout the ages, aiding by subtly nudging them from danger and hazards as an erring parent. But as the centuries waned, slowly Khy’rac returned to the earth as if finally at peace in having fulfilled a divine purpose.
