Kashahndi - The World Tree - TN

Kashahndi, the first everbloom, perhaps the last, woke to the vast wasteland of the Arlagan Desert, it is through her seeds and her spirit that life was birthed, from the mightiest of Erunxhul to the smallest of budding plants, all are connected to the World Tree, sprouting from her roots and growing from her gifts. She restored balance to the lands, a tenuous thing though it is, bringing life and greenery to a place that was forgotten, she brought forth the rains, and from her seeds her people grew, sustained through the suns rays with which she called. Though her peace would not last forever, many found the bounty of her gifts and sought them for themselves, with each axe, they tore at her spirit, and with each blood spilt, her spirit grew fainter, until at last the darkness rose, a foul ichor that swept through the lands enveloping those with its corruption, twisting the minds of once peaceful creatures, the tenuous balance broken.
Her soul shattered by the fighting, the balance that held broken, sparked within her an understanding as to her role amongst her people, but so too realization as to what this pain had caused. She was no longer truly herself, a dark seed building within her that would remain, blighting her roots with its corruption should the balance be broken once more. She sought to quell this blight, attempting to sway her people but this only grew the blights strength, though as she grew into despair, it was at last that her people realized their mistake, the fighting and pain that they had caused spread through the land itself causing this corruption, to restore the land they must have balance, they must have peace, and so her people put aside their differences, they spoke to the World Tree, and from this she learned of the truth, her soul must be at peace, balance within itself and with the world for this sickness to end.
