Kara'Zan - The Mad Jester - CN
Crafts, Humor, Madness
Kara'Zan is an entity of strange otherworldly power, that seems to grow stronger as the Cytillish Fungus draws near, though no one truly knows what this being wants, nor what they look like, except of course those laughing mad, the Mad Jester still has found a following, especially amongst the tortured souls that are the Derro, who found their faith in the Mad Jester when in their desperation they consumed the sacred fungus, the Cytillish, and their sight expanded, viewing the world as it truly is, or at least as Kara'Zan sees it. It is through these gifts that the Derro survived their exile, and it is through their gifts that the Derro have learned to master their mad ideas and transform them into genius inventions.
Though, the Mad Jester found and took in the Derro, they still had an odd sense of humor, dark pranks were often played upon their people, or on others that the Derro came across, it was ordered to spread a garden of Shriekers throughout The Depths, for what purpose, who knows, for the priests of Kara'Zan only responded with mad laughter. Perhaps though, these pranks, are a cruel reflection of the life that this entity had, sent by their followers unto others that pushed them to the edge of sanity. Yet still though, as the madness takes hold, the Mad Jester's morose countenance shifts into that of manic laughter, celebrations abound as the derro dance and sing their mad songs around the forge fire as they form even more inventions that may or not work, to honor their savior.
