J'ranji Rahjmahna - Mother Moon - CN
Fate, Moon, Nature
Mother Moon has been since before the birth of Kaidryn, roaming the mighty plains of the spirit wilds, when she was but a small kit, but as new worlds formed, and mortal-kind began to take root, J'ranji knew there was something missing within her domain. She was lost, but she knew not what was missing. She sought out the other great spirits, asked of them for insight, for aid, for anything that may ease this emptiness inside of her, but none could answer, for it was not for them to answer, but of fate. It is from these many pilgrimages that J'ranji sought answers, but none were to be found, until at last, the will of the spheres, of the moons, and the stars had chosen J'ranji for something great, on the seventh moon of the seventh night, of the seventh month of her travels, J'ranji, was at last at peace, her questions answered as she found her destiny.
It is said that on this night, that J'ranji plucked the stars from the sky, one by one, and gave them life, birthing into the realms her children, those swift and quick, and those strong and tall, the felidae, tabaxi, and vah-shir. Mewling kits, they were, lost to the darkness of her great plains, her new children needed much, and so, J'ranji provided, she tempered the fields so that they may grow tall, better to house the smaller creatures for her children to hunt. She took from the skies its hue, filling the land with, seas, lakes, and rivers, and finally, she took from the moon, her gift, so that each of her children would know what it is to be chosen, and so her children praised her as Mother Moon, for her coat bore the stars, and the danced amongst the fields she grew, gifts from the skies itself, but their dance was cut short, for their fate was not to remain here within her divine realm, for all mothers know their kits must leave the den, and so, one by one her children awoke from their dream, returned to the waking world, ready to protect the gifts that their mother gave them.
