Agma Swamps

In the southeastern region of Arlogas, across the divide of water which somewhat separates the country, is a distinct lack of the traditional overgrown vegetation and trees which Maloxhi is famous for. In its place are grasslands which surround a particular patch of swampland that is infamous around the region. These swamplands are known as the Agma Swamps, and are generally seen as an unholy section in Maloxhi. To many the Agma Swamps are reminiscent of the period of time when the Everbloom became poisoned and threatened the destruction of Maloxhi. This is because of the creatures and plant life which typically come from this region.
The Agma Swamps are home to the majority of corrupted and blighted plants and animals in Maloxhi, because of this there is a high concentration of toxins and necromancy throughout the swamps. Of course, almost all Maloxhi shamans would say that these things have their place in nature as there is a necessity for death if one hopes to bring forth life. However, many creatures within the Agma Swamps don’t care for the balance of life and death - and instead choose to spread their affinity without regard for the delicate balance.
