Cecillion Oora

Cecillion is an anouran man who comes from a large tribe of anoura people--humanoids who have features similar to frogs. He has webbed fingers and toes, frog-like pupils, holes for ears, and a wide mouth with a tongue that can extend over 10 feet long. He was born of two anouran women--a rare circumstance, but possible among his people. He's a ranger and primarily wields a bow, crossbow, and shortsword. From a young age, he has loved and adored the sea--and thus those are the plains that he explores.

History

The Past ...

Cecillion comes from a tribe of anouran people who maintain the seal to a portal keeping the underworld at bay from the overworld. Born of two mothers--a rare instance among his people--a lot of stress and tension was put on him ever since he was a child. Due to this, he developed severe social anxiety and thus struggles communicating and speaking to others, as well as a very bad condition of frequent panic attacks under a certain amount of stress. But as he grew, he found love in smaller things. He grew to be an efficient and capable hunter--primarily wielding a bow or crossbow in hand. Alongside that passion, he grew to love and embrace the seas in their entirety. They are his home--his escape from all else.

Present Day ...

One day he found himself suddenly upon a ship--locked in a cage and gagged alongside other victims. Unaware of what had brought him to such a state, he feared eternally for what was to become of him. That was until a massive leviathan struck the ship, causing it to split in twain--passing out in the process. He found himself washed ashore, still shackled whilst others around him remained missing or unconscious. Upon freeing himself, he sought to help others. From there, he grew to learn and know the souls that had been lost alongside him. This began his journey from then onwards.
