Neremin Ianfaren

Residing in the City of Vern, Neremin Ianfaren is an eccentric collector of knowledge. The size of his personal library rivals even that of the Spellweaver's Circle, but has a distinctly different focus. Rather than collecting alchemical and magical knowledge, Neremin hoards rare and heretical texts.
While not overtly reclusive, Neremin prefers not to share his collection with others. He does have a simple policy: those who seek knowledge within his library must first contribute to his collection. Fortunately, Neremin keeps his eyes and ears open, always on the lookout for rumors regarding additional rare manuscripts.

His library

Nestled between two towering apartments, his house is located in a more dilapidated part of Vern. Within, the smell of old books is almost overwhelming. Despite its small appearance, Neremin has meticulously packed its interior with bookshelves, almost as if the building is larger inside than it is outside. His rarest books are kept in the basement, protected from sunlight and insulated against the elements.

Sections

His library is organized into collections with an overarching theme. Some sections include:

• First edition manuscripts that are considered heresy by the Ilosian Theocracy.
• Miscellaneous minor prophecies, similarly considered heresy.
• Histories and pedigrees of the loyalist noble houses of Vern, many of which were killed during the Iris Rebellion.
• Sagas retelling the rise and fall of the great Dwarven empires that used to occupy Vern.
