Neverstone

Far to the North East overlooking the @CrystalOcean lies the outpost Neverstone. More important than ever after the @PlaneMeld , Neverstone guards the sea passages coming from now unknown neighboring nations to the North and East.
In the past being sent to Neverstone was a punishment since it was so far away and deployments there would last for years with not much to do to pass the time, now it has become a vitally strategic outpost to keep an eye on untrustworthy neighbors. @Rivenmont High Command has started to shift many resources there and plans to expand the outpost and build better roads leading to it.

Demographics

Knights of @HouseAstamtal , their squires, soldiers of @HouseAstamtal, about 30 peasants/serfs mainly human, 40 soldiers left over from punishment detail.

Government

Martial Law. Lord Astamtal has the final say in all. The general laws of the kingdom of @Grentrada still apply and are supposed to be enforced by the soldiers of the outpost.

Defences

Cannons with swivels are placed on top of the castle as well as a single ballista.

Industry & Trade

Supplies come in sporadically all the way from @Rivenmont . Travelling merchants rarely pass through as well. The outpost mostly self maintains by employing the local settlers who farm the land.

Infrastructure

A very tall castle shaped like a rook overlooks the Ocean. The original barracks and walls made of  crumbling stone surround the castle with the homes of a scant few settlers in the nearby vicinity. A very small patch of farmland sits behind the peasants' houses supplementing the food stocks of the castle. New construction is ongoing to expand the castle and its walls in order to better protect the small settlement that is springing up and seemingly growing. An enterprising merchant has set up a small storefront attached to one of the local homes.

Assets

The armory contains basic weapons and armor for the soldiers as well as ammunition for the cannons. The horse stables contain 2 horses per knight. There is a very small blacksmith shop able to maintain the equipment of the soldiers. Lord Astamtal has brought with him his personal belongings and has set them up in the commander's estate room.
