And so the great wheel turns, the universe and life evolve and the custodian gods spend untold eons in philosphical and moral debate. The most well documented mythological event of this proto-time is the trial of the custodian goddess of evil.

The Betrayal of Trathar During this early time the gods spoke and argued point after counterpoint as to the right of evil to exist and the need for a custodian over such a force. Zith paused and looked upon Syann and realized how much time had passed and ordered Sindra to be at last judged next that Syann made its way around the sun. Sindra in her dark cunning knew she would be destroyed if she did not act and so she came before Trathar and said she would change her ways, that he had taught her the value of his virtues and even claimed she loved him. Taken by her beauty and what he thought was her sincerity Trathar embraced her and lay with her to comfort her. When next the gods came together Zith Spoke and said   "Speak for yourself Sindra why should we not destroy you"   Sinda stepped forward and smiled wickedly   "For I bear in my womb the second generation of our race, of we custodians and because good can be just as eager to destroy, just as flawed and dangerous as evil"   At the moment Trathar realized she had used him he flew into a rage demanding Sindra be punished and justice brought upon her. Such was his fury that Zith, Arcadies and Mithila all agreed with Sindras point and so she was spared. Though her child caused the other gods to pause and consider the value and perhaps enjoyment that might be found in such legacies, and so would follow the creation of the next generation of gods. The first Children of the Elder gods were many, some were born of pure divine blood, others of gods and planer beings and entities. All would share in common the custodians interest and personification of ideas, ideals and forces. As magical and psychic beings connected to the cosmic wellspring of power.
