Special Containment Procedures:

SCP-x216 is to be housed within a high-security containment wing at Site-██. Access to SCP-x216 requires Level 4 clearance and direct authorization from the O5 Council. The entrance to SCP-x216 is sealed by a reinforced, memetically-shielded vault door.

All instances of SCP-x216-1 (gemstones produced by SCP-x216) are to be cataloged, stored in separate anomalous item lockers, and monitored to prevent unauthorized use. Testing with SCP-x216-1 is strictly prohibited outside of O5-approved operations.

SCP-x216-2 (the elevator) is to be actively monitored by a dedicated research and security team. No personnel may activate SCP-x216-2 without authorization and adherence to trans-dimensional navigation protocols.

Any unauthorized dimensional disruptions caused by SCP-x216-1 must be immediately suppressed through deployment of Task Force Omega-7, equipped with reality stabilization devices.

Description:

SCP-x216 is an anomalous pocket dimension referred to as “The Labyrinth.” This vast, ever-expanding extradimensional construct is composed of an infinite series of interconnected floors, each containing unique environmental and physical properties. Each floor represents a fragment or entire encapsulation of a displaced reality.

SCP-x216-1:

SCP-x216 produces small quantities of gemstones (designated SCP-x216-1), all of which are in Foundation possession. These gemstones appear to form spontaneously on various surfaces within SCP-x216.

Unique Properties:

▣ When two SCP-x216-1 gemstones are brought outside SCP-x216 and impacted against one another, the dimension surrounding the user (typically up to 5 kilometers in radius) is forcibly transported into SCP-x216.

▣ The displaced dimension is then assigned to a floor within SCP-x216, complete with all structures, entities, and environmental conditions from the original location. The mechanism by which SCP-x216 organizes floors remains poorly understood, though observations suggest a pattern of hierarchical cataloging based on dimensional similarity and stability.

SCP-x216-2:

SCP-x216-2 is a trans-dimensional elevator located in the central atrium of SCP-x216’s entrance floor. SCP-x216-2 possesses an internal control panel allowing passengers to select and travel to any recorded floor. Additionally, SCP-x216-2 is capable of transporting passengers to external planes of existence or alternate realities, provided coordinates or identifiers are input.

Personnel report sensations of temporal disorientation and mild spatial vertigo during transport via SCP-x216-2. Despite this, no long-term adverse effects have been documented.
