Special Containment Procedures:

SCP-x1006 is to be kept in a standard anomalous object containment locker at Site-██. Manifestations of SCP-x1006-x instances are to be monitored via security footage, and any emerging entities are to be contained immediately.

SCP-x1006-x entities are to be classified as either "Stable" or "Unstable" upon manifestation. Stable entities are to be housed in separate containment enclosures and monitored for behavioral patterns. Unstable entities are to be terminated upon manifestation unless they can be effectively contained for study. Interaction with Stable entities is permitted with Level 2 authorization. Under no circumstances are personnel to interact with Unstable entities beyond necessary containment or neutralization procedures.

Description:

SCP-x1006 is a teal-colored stuffed elephant resembling a Beanie Baby-style toy, discovered in San Francisco, California, in 199█. The object itself exhibits no sentience or movement but sporadically manifests autonomous stuffed animals and toy-like entities, designated SCP-x1006-x. The conditions under which these manifestations occur are unknown, as no clear pattern or triggering event has been identified.

SCP-x1006-x entities vary significantly in size, appearance, and behavior. Some are no larger than a small bird, while others have been documented as large as a mid-sized sedan. The entities are categorized into two broad classifications:

▣ Stable Entities: These entities exhibit consistent physical structures with no apparent deformities. They vary in demeanor, with some displaying extreme hostility toward humans and others appearing cooperative or even protective. Stable entities have been observed mimicking behaviors of non-anomalous toys, such as repeating pre-recorded phrases, performing simple programmed actions, or reacting to external stimuli in predictable ways.

▣ Unstable Entities: These instances exhibit severe structural anomalies, including extra limbs, asymmetrical body parts, exposed stuffing, or erratic movement patterns. Without exception, Unstable entities are highly aggressive and will attack any living creature on sight. Many of these entities also display rapid decomposition, internal combustion, or spontaneous mechanical failure within hours or days of manifestation.

Attempts to predict or prevent the emergence of SCP-x1006-x entities have been unsuccessful. Removal of SCP-x1006 from its containment does not appear to influence manifestation frequency. Likewise, destruction attempts on SCP-x1006-x entities have yielded inconsistent results, with some entities demonstrating extreme durability while others collapse into inert stuffing and synthetic fabric upon termination.
