Metsansie

Metsansie is the name given by the Elderlyr to the soul of the forest, as they believe that the Elderwoods have their own mind. To not anger the woods when hunting and cutting down its trees, the dwarves try to appease Metsansie by praying to the forest and honoring what was taken from it. The Elderlyr believe that not only the forest has a soul, but that from time to time the soul of the forest even takes on a tangible form. In this form, Metsansie will walk among the dwarves and carry out its wrath against everyone who has wronged the Elderwoods. Thus the Druids of Metsansie, Elderlyr who have deepened their connection to the forest are able to channel the force of the forest to help their people. For outsiders it is unclear what exactly Metsansie is or if the soul of the forest does even exist, as no one has ever seen the protector itself. But as the dwarves were able to thrive in the hostile environment of the Elderwoods, there must be some power watching over them
