Siegl Bay

Siegl Bay pushes inland from the Grey Sea forming the western coastline of @Noravia and is the body of water into which the swampy Dessel Delta flows.   Known for generally calmer waters than its parent sea, the Bay has long sweeping beaches and a few natural harbours and coves that allow it be easily navigated by shipping.   Translated literally siegl means seal in Novost, and the bay was likely named for the colonies of seals that frequent the shoreline and waters. It should be noted that the first humans passed along the shoreline did so with local dwarf guides who would have pointed out Seikt Ga - Salt Bay, as dwarven salt trapping had taken place along the beaches for several hundred years. This is thought to be one of the first mistranslations between the humans and dwarfs.
