Catasites (Cat-ah-sights)

Catasites are the children of the Largasites. Constantly being pumped out each minute they would from the backs of the colonies as workers and soldiers eventually growing up to become their own Largasite. Catasites have eight spiny legs on a body similar to a beetle with indentations that would separate the head and the thorax. The Catasites lifespan lasts a good 80 years before becoming a Largasite and in that time become larger and larger until they are roughly the size of a great Dane. Like their much larger and older Largasite they do produce their own small quanitity of Magasites to help enslave other lifeforms to the queens will. They are in fact a breed of Thetasites.
