Whisper Gloves

Whisper gloves are an item of clothing that displaces sounds made by the wearer's hands and causes them to reverberate somewhere else within a space of up to thirty meters. This can be particularly useful for two different kinds of tasks: either to steal something and shift attention somewhere else, or else scare the heeby jeebies out of someone. Either method is entertaining. Sounds coming out of nowhere always freaks people out.
The primary drawback of the gloves is that you cannot predict where exactly the sounds will be transmitted to. Best to not have an accomplice since you might inadvertently draw attention to them. The other downside is that the noises are always so quiet that without relative quiet, one loses the ability to spook someone.
