Democracy Dog
Democracy Dog
Name: Democracy Dog
Nickname: Glory Hound
Real Name:
Archtype: Blaster Electrical / Electric
Affiliation: Furry WW2 Super Group
Date Active: 1937 to 1972
Born: 3 February 1918
Death: 11 November 1998
Notes:
Officially known as Democracy Dog but nicknamed Glory Hound. Never one to pass up the opportunity to brag publicly about how good he was. Had his own publicist and a large Fan Club. But in spite of that failing he was a well respected member of the team.
Tough and courageous he was feared by all his enemies. Went into movies after the war (to no ones great surprise). But served in WW2 and Korea. Volunteered for Vietnam but was turned down. repeatedly.
Known to have been heavily involved with Veterans Affairs. And it's understood he suffered from PTSD.
Was active in the SG until it officially closed in 1972. Was independent for a while but officially retired in 1988. His funeral was a large and grand affair involving thousands. Liberty Lion put it "He would have love it!"
Surprisingly his fan club is still active! And are a lively, if small part of the annual HeroCon conventions.
