Sometimes the road of life takes you down an odd off ramp. After finishing high school (at his mothers insistence) Robert wandered. Attempts at a normal day job were boring and college just wasn't to his liking. He eventually bought a motorcycle and joined a biker gang - The Road Lords.

Life was good until they reached Maine and the Rickti attacked. It seems the aliens mistook the twenty motorcycles moving down the highway for a military formation and smashed it. Seeing his friends being smashed and killed triggered something in him and he lashed out with bolts of electricity. When the police arrived the only one left alive was Robert. He joined an ad-hoc group of supers who fought to defend Bangor Maine throughout the rest of the war. When it was over the ad-hoc group became a permanent one and he settled down to defend his new home. He is a familiar sight in Bangor biking down it's streets.

Robert chose the official name of The Biker but the people of Maine have given him a different nickname - Biker Bob. A name he despises but takes with good humor. Still it hasn't stopped him from fighting crime and helping people.
