SPECIAL CAREER PATH: EXPERIMENT (mu corps)   EXPERIMENT: You have been taken by the Daughters of Artemis-- for any number of reasons-- and placed in a facility beyond your experience, paying off your supposed debt with flesh, blood, and wires.   QUALIFICATIONS: Failing a Psionic or other powered survival roll, certain mishap rolls, sentencing for a crime, stolen from hibernation, recruited under false circumstances & pretenses, lured in by Marks.   RELEASE THRESHOLD: Beginning at the specified level per each Assignment, Release Threshold (RT) is an indicator of how much the DoA Specialists want to keep you. After each term, you roll 2D. If the number rolled is higher than your RT, then you are officially released -- you can come up with your own circumstances or roll on the Release Table. If not, you are not released and must complete another term. After 4 failed terms, you will be released.   AUGMENTATION: three assignment tracks involve unwilling augmentation: Cybernet, Jester and Flesh.   ASSIGNMENTS:   PSI-LOCK: your abilities are apparently dangerous, but you are an asset, or so the doctors say. RT D+1. FIXER: You have your connections even in this hopeless void. RT D+2   CYBERNET: Your body houses that which is not yours. RT D+2   FLESH: nothing but grist for the mill. RT D+1   WATCHER: Your deal with the guards and staff is conditional-- you keep an eye out for rebellion and smuggling, and you get a reward. RT D+2. If you roll a 12 on your advancement roll, the guards take you into their ranks... for better or worse. Roll benefits and join the ENTERTAINMENT career or ENFORCER career automatically.   JESTER: you have to make people laugh. It's the only thing that numbs your pain. RT D+1. If you roll a 2, your Mishap table roll automatically gains you an ally amused by your struggle in addition to whatever else is listed.
