The Giant Dwarf
The Giant Dwarf is the biggest mountain found on Sum. It is incredibly rich in iron and other resources and home to the Eisani, the smaller of the two dwarven tribes. Despite being the biggest mountain, the Giant Dwarf is not connected to any mountain range, it stands solitary at the south-eastern coast of Lucia.
Purpose / Function
Home of the Eisani tribe, and main provider of iron for nations in the south of the continent. It is also the spring for the biggest river in South-Lucia.
Alterations
Since first settling around the base of the mountain, the Eisani started mining for resources. Over the years, old, unused mine shafts were repurposed to house the miners, and later almost everyone of the Eisani moved in. Now, the Giant Dwarf houses a big, underground city, full of residences and shops cut right from the stone.
Architecture
Dwarves are known for being rather pragmatic. The only artistic things one can find inside the Giant Dwarf are statues or other artworks gifted to the Eisani by outsiders. Most shops and residences are simple, with just enough space to live and work without being restrained by the walls. The only exception is the Iron Palace, which holds enough space for the Eisani Regent and his family, as well as enough rooms for possible political guests to stay in.
