Personal history
An supporting participant in The Dragon War, Erebus worked to reclaim as many of the fallen Humanoids as possible, raising as many as possible, and resurrecting when possible. The numbers ressurected by him were innumerable, but his work was still offset by the growing losses.
With the Death of Laku, the war was ended, but so too was his school of magic, transmutation. The decision was made by The Dragons that Erebus should resurrect Laku partially, enough to restore his magic to the world and no more. With Laku partially resurrected, Erebus bound their souls together, so that should Laku rise, he would know.
After the war concluded, The Dragons went into hiding to prevent their influence causing any more damage to Sufera. Erebus took residence nearby those he had already influenced greatly, those of the Arkian Shogunate, who had utilised the necromancy magic taught to them greatly. Despite vowing to leave Humanoids to their own devices, he could not bring himself to leave them completely unchecked...
