Nadeyat'sya the Soul Painter

Within Styx artiste community legends persist of an individual called Nadeyat'sya the Soul Painter. She is said to be a patron of the arts but also an eldritch being, equally likely to grant desperate artists their wishes or trap them in their paintings for eternity. Superstition says that if one carelessly opens a bottle of sweetened ale at a performance without saying grace to Serkatha one invokes her wrath. Recently a scholar of the Academia Ars Magicka et Mundana has begone collecting testimonies and trying to gather proof of the existence of the Soul Painter, with little success, those that claim to know of someone who was soul-painted can only offer a, to all perceptions, entirely mundane if artful painting of the supposed victim of which no trace remains.
