Abyss

The Abyss, also called the Darkness Beyond Stars and the Void is the anti-realm located below the World Skull and all Realms.

The Abyss has always existed and with every passing millenium it swallows more of the cosmos.

It is said that one day all will be one with the Nothingness but that the World Skull's latent magick wards off the all-consuming vortex of the Abyss.

The Abyss manifests tendrils which reach out for Creation seeking to pull it into its fold. Normally these tendrils must be connected to the Abyss by link but the curious case of the Abyssal Whyrl of Umbrae shows that certain powerful magicks can enable it to break this rule.
