Thalissejan Tower
The Thalissejan Towers are a number of strange and monumental antesturian constructions found along the Thalissejan Road which is named after the towers which dot the long stretch of road crossing the Northern Leshivoi Forest east-west.
The towers have been described as metal skeletalesque artefacts of undoubtable antesturian origin even when ignoring the mysterious and unexplained workings of their interiors by merit of their sheer size.
Each of the towers is a bizarre monumental “building” made up of rods of an unknown metal seemingly cast into shape and then stacked to connectively form the towers.
Each singular rod is roughly the size of three adults and slots into the next rod with metal bolts the size of an adults leg.
Resting on foundations of porous antesturian concrete each of these metal skeletons rises to heights that to the Stygian orthodoxy would seem offensive and blasphemous, easily dwarfing the resplendent golden domes of the most-sacred Grand Temple of Serkatha in Templesmeet.
Each of the Thalissejan Towers further has two “arms” which are made up of the same connected metal rods and reach to two sides from the center part of the tower.
Cords of metal are affixed to these arms in a truly unreachable height spanning far distances above the Leshivoi Forest and connecting each tower to the next.
Above even the outstretched arms of Thalissejan is the highest peaking extent of each tower which houses its most unexplainable sanctum: each of the Thalissejan Towers contains an ancient shrine dedicated to the Eternal Hum, the unknowable eldest spirit which has guarded and protected the each Tower from all manner of danger and threat as well as the horrors of the Leshivoi Forest since times immemorial.
Each of these shrines is tended to by the masked priests known as the Keepers of the Hum, emmissants of the Dwarven Church of the All-High who dedicate their lives to the ritual-tuned maintenance of these marvels of scarcely understandood antesturian magi-tekh.
Along the seemingly near endless Thalissejan Tower Road the towers form naturally protected areas that in most cases have enticed travellers, traders and tribal outcasts to settle down and build camps, villages and the likes around the towers which keep away all manner of dangerous forest creatures and even superstitious tribals.
