Ovis Foxfear
Ovis Foxfear was an inventor of the Union of Manufactury Workers who created many innovative weapons, most famously the Foxfear Gun.
Foxfear was a dwarf originally from the dwarven colony Dwergynlaw but moved to Styx and acquired citizenship after serving within the Armed Forces of the Stygian Republic as a military engineer.
After his service he moved on to work as an inventor for multiple of the Great Unions pushing a progressive agenda and incorporating techniques learned by studying ancient technological schematics kept by the Academia Ars Magicka et Mundana from the time before the Great Exodus.
Although Foxfear was primarily an inventor of weaponry he also progressed research in agriculture (during his time with the Union of Farmers and Peasants) and even a small number of medically used pieces of technology which are still used by the Parvian Saints and the Union of Leeches, Sawbones and Shrinks.
After his death in the year 342 the now-defunct Union of Culinary Workers renamed a type of pastry which he is said to have enjoyed tremendously after him, calling them Foxfear's Delight and the Union of Bards, Performers and Artists dedicated a piece of march music incorporating cannon shots at various points within its final part; it is called The Unrepentant Progressive's March.
