Abjuration

Abjuration is a School of Magick that includes protection Magick, counter-spells as well as magickal barriers and banishing entities to other Realms (most often the one they originate from).
Abjuration is commonly taught at the Academia Ars Magicka et Mundana and used widely within Styx for personal use, business purposes as well as the defense of the city itself against hostile outside forces like the beings of the Leshivoi Forest and spies and agents of the Kingdom of Darklight or the Duchy of Sharhaven.
