Woolworm
Woolworm is a species of caterpillar that is notorious for making its cocoon in the wool of sheep for its waterproofing, warmth, and protection. This is potentially harmful to the sheep, however, since the silky cocoon residue can cause the sheep's wool to become mottled and tangled, becoming dangerous to the sheep. Shepherds have to comb their sheep, checking for the parasitic woolworms. However, wool containing a small percentage of woolworm cocoons is known to have excellent quality, adding silkiness to the wool's hardiness.
