Servowl

The servowl is an animal species that is a cross between a serval and an owl. It has four legs like a serval, and two wings on its back. When walking on all fours, its wings tuck tightly on its body, and its feathers blend in with its fur, a cross between the two materials. Their bodies, as a result, are long and think, with a relatively small head, with its serval face. Only its eyes slightly resemble an owl. Its retractable claws, especially on its back legs, extend into owl-like talons. Servowls are expert hunters, especially at nighttime, and they are known to make several noises including hisses, purrs, screeches, and "hoo"s.  Servowls are typically tan or white with dark colored spots, although some are darker grey, ruddy, striped, or calico.  Young servowls are called "owlcats" but are the same species, given time to grow into their adult, serval-sized bodies.
