Pot Hen

Pot hen is a species of chicken that is known for its plump and juicy meat. It is often cooked whole, placed into a pot, hence its name. When cooked at a long time on low heat, its bones disintegrate, leading to recipes like pot pies that include the whole chicken.  Pot hen is one of the most commonly-eaten meats on Orcli, and pot hens can often be seen in coops and walking freely throughout the towns and hamlets of Orcli.  They are easy to catch, so they are sometimes allowed to roam freely, if there is not a risk of them being stolen or abducted.  Free-roaming pot hens are often marked with a collar or tag on its foot to denote its owner to avoid accidental theft.
