Grosscat

Grosscat is a species of large, bear-like cat, which usually have dark brown or black, fluffy fur, and a thick tale, wide body, and broad face. They look like a fluffy, fat house cat, but are the size of a grizzly bear. They are feared predators due to their stature and size which enables them to best opponents and hunters. They have voracious appetites and are not scared of humans, and will commonly raid humans' camps and homesteads looking for food. They do have the propensity toward laziness, however, which can be commonly said of apex predators at one point or another.  They tend to keep toward mountainous regions where they hunt their favorite prey, which are large, winged animals like roc, griffons, pegasus, and hippogriffs.
