Drozul

Drozul is an animal species that resembles a giant frog or toad. It lives in the swamps of the Mysnawa Nwm where it spends most of its time submerged underwater. It uses massive hind legs to propel itself by pushing off the swampy floor - it is not adept to traveling on land. Its body is so heavy that it does not swim or use its forearms much except for balance and stabilization. It hunts using its strong and fast tongue, which is barbed and sticky, retracting prey into its mouth, which can expand its neck to withhold large-sized prey like humans and deer. Drozul are capable of secreting acid to melt metal and break down prey. Its spawn, which begin their lives as tadpoles, spend years growing and feeding on plant material and carrion before maturing into an adult, frog-like drozul, where it rapidly grows and develops a voracious appetite, since if it stops eating and growing, its own acid will be too much and will cause itself to die. Drozul pollute the water they live in, affecting the kind of flora and fauna that can live in the water as well.
