Tortle
Tortles in Sturth are much like tortles of other D&D worlds -- a mysterious, patient race of shelled humanoids, secure to watch the world go by and take pleasure in its observation. Their simple lives are all most tortles need, though some take up a more exciting life for reasons as varied as any human.
Motivations
Tortles are driven by a love of solidity, a sense that the world is at rest and can be left that way. As such, the sheer unknown of Nestfaolo motivates many tortles to seek out and categorize its strangeness. Then again, individual tortles vary in their inclinations much as any other race, so defining their motivations as one simple goal is a vast oversimplification.Playing a Tortle
Tortles are functionally identical to those found in D&D Beyond. Tortles have no subraces.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
