Tamno River

This wide, slow river meanders out of the treeline of the Twilight Woods and eventually pours from the seaside cliffs and into the ocean. It is believed to originate from the western mountain ranges, but its exact origin is unknown.
So far there have been no lasting bridges built across this river, since it can be swam across with relative ease.

Geography

A wide, winding river, the Tamno gently winds its way toward the sea, its waters clouded with forest dirt. Varying between 40 and 150 feet wide, this river is relatively shallow and its current weak.

Ecosystem

Currently unknown. Enterprising locals have begun fishing this river, and it seems to be teeming with pale purple fish that have a slightly bitter taste.

Localized Phenomena

During Stormfall, the Tamno floods, its current increasing and becoming dangerous to cross. Otherwise, it is consistently calm and lacks any rapids.

Fauna & Flora

The short finned pale purple fish locals have begun to fish from this river have been nicknamed "bitterfins."

Natural Resources

Besides a steady supply of bitterfins to the eateries of Respite, this river's other resources are unknown and untapped.
